I've never actually used this to mount anything to a conga but they're very useful in other ways. You can clamp it to a single aux rod turning it into a double rod mount (like an LP mini rack). I first got it to attach 2 Miller Machines together, just clamp one to the other one! Also works great as a vibra-slap mount and you don't have to unscrew the ball or anything. Solid product, Meinl has great build quality. I have 2 of these now - so good I got a second!
