Needed something heavy-duty to help the cowbells carry over the 75 brass and woodwinds in my band, and these did the trick. For their size they don't feel heavy, but they do make the cowbells sound out better than a drum stick--and you don't have to wear yourself out flailing away to make yourself heard. They are definitely worth the price. Steve Weiss is the master of packing the product to withstand the rigors of shipping, and getting it to the customer in a timely manner.
