The instrument is a decent quality for the price. However upon arrival there were some small cracks visible on the interior of the instrument and the rubber lip attached at the top was not properly installed. I usually love Meinl products so was surprised at this. Neither of these issues should impact the sound but will reduce the lifespan of the instrument.
