Extra snappy egg shaker

The Meinl Loop shaker's sound is dry and snappy with very little sustain/fill slop sound like you'll find on "softer" sounding shakers. It's more akin to the down stroke of a caxixi (on the gourd end) than an egg shaker, I think. It doesn't swirl as well as softer filled egg shakers, but it does give you a very precise, louder attack which is good for some more intricate rhythm work. It's a great complement to softer shakers or just when you need a little more thwack. A slightly larger version would be really great if you're reading, Meinl!
