The MEINL MC-STBD Cowbell Holder attaches firmly to the bass drum hoop. Rubber pads prevent scratches on the hoop.

While it's not the heaviest or sturdiest feeling cowbell mount I've ever used, I have no complaints. It comes with nice rubber lined jaws to keep my beautiful wood hoops from being scarred and even with my big heavy lp ridge rider mounted high, I have no issues with wobble or unwanted motion.
Very nice product from Mienl. It holds really well. But it came packaged with nicks in the black finish. This didn't happen during shipping; there wasn't any damage to the shipping box or the packaging. These were manufacture flaws that got past the inspection process.
