Meister-Arabic Dances (SP)-M/P/TU

Scored for tuba and one multi-percussionist, Arabic Dances by Scott Meister is a challenging and unique work in three movements, inspired by elements of the music of the Middle East (modal references, frame drums, ostinatos, etc.). A "busy" percussion part makes use of a variety of performance techniques. Both tuba and percussion get a great work-out, great for either brass or percussion recitals.
