Melting Point by Leander Kaiser is a quartet written for mallet instruments. This piece begins in a rather cool mood and seems to heat up more and more as the piece goes on then ends as icily as it started. Written for 4.3 octave marimba, xylophone, vibraphone, and glockenspiel (with pedal if possible). Duration: 7'30"
