Description
Mirrors by Judd Danby is a percussion quartet that was written for the University of Illinois Percussion Ensemble. Each performer has three stations; one group of five instruments (except for player 4 who has a complete set of chromatic crotales), one group of four and a single mallet-keyboard instrument. Duration: 15 minutes
Instrumentation:
Player 1 - concert snare drum, high medium and low tom toms, tumba, high medium and low temple blocks, vibraslap, tubular chimes.
Player 2 - sizzle cymbal, medium suspended cymbal, Chinese cymbal, hi-hat, small tam tam, high medium and low brake drums, small button gong, xylophone.
Player 3 - 5 roto toms, high medium and low almglocken, medium button gong, 4.3 octave marimba.
Player 4 - crotales, high medium and low woodblocks, vibraslap, vibraphone.
