Hatzis-Modulations 1 SET OF PARTS ONLY-2V/2M

Modulations 1 (SET OF PARTS) by Christos Hatzis is a quartet for two vibraphones and two five-octave marimbas written in 2011. This exciting work combines metric modulation and minimalism. It contains intriguing and challenging "DJ-like" shifts in harmony and beats, which show off the ensemble skills of the performers. TorQ Percussion Quartet (Toronto, Canada) commissioned and premiered the work. Modulations 1 is published in celebration of Hatzis' 60th birthday. It is now available for purchase as a study score and/or performance set (parts only).
