Moore, J. Halley's Comet-M

Halley's Comet by Joe W. Moore III was composed as the obligatory piece for the 2015 I Concurso para Marimba Maestro Zeferino Nadayapa. The title of the work comes from a periodic comet that orbits the sun and is visible from Earth every 75-76 years and was seen in 1986. The piece sonically portrays the brief visible beauty of the comet.
