Moore, M.-OnRush (SP)-Electronic percussion

OnRush by Matt Moore is a completely electronic piece for MIDI controllers and Apple’s MainStage software. The piece borrows heavily from the Electronic Dance Music genre but is performed note-by-note by live performers through traditional notation.

• Instrumentation:
• Player 1: 2 Drum pads*
• Player 2: 2 Drum pads*
• Player 3: 61-key MIDI key controller (Novation Impulse or similar)
• Player 4: 3-octave mallet MIDI controller (MalletStation, MalletKAT or similar)
• Player 5: 2 Vertical faders (Korg nanoCONTROL2 or similar)**

*Players 1 & 2 can share a single drum MIDI controller (Yamaha DTX, Roland SPD or similar])

**Player 5 can also use the faders on the Player 3’s key controller if available.
