These two solos are based on concepts found in Dr. Tom Morgan's method for snare drum, A Sequential Approach to Fundamental Snare Drum (Item #05800). Compound Fracture - an exploration of common rhythms found in compound meters. Hoe Down for Snare Drum - as the name implies, this solo is in the style of an old-fashioned foot-stompin' hoe down fiddle tune. It should be performed with that kind of energy and flair.
