Covers a wealth of coordination studies in a wide variety of styles, including funk, reggae, Latin, fusion, and a number of odd-meter drum styles. The author enumerates the various aspects of drumming which are critical to solid musicianship, shows how these aspects relate to each other and to playing, and demonstrates how, by evaluating our capabilities, we can strive toward a musical balance in our playing.
