Henry-Mr. Squidwerd-P SP

Mr. Squidwerd by Alice Henry for percussion sextet. If more than six students are to perform this work, then there should be more shakers, then wood and can performers. The director will have to balance out the sound. Adding a whistle or recorder to players one and two is a nice touch since the character "Mr. Squidwerd" has been known to play the clarinet, and once swallowing a whistle.

Instrumentation:
Player 1 - Can (coffee can is recommended)
Player 2 - Wood (any wood instrument)
Player 3 - Tambourine
Player 4 - Triangle
Player 5 - Shakers
Player 6 - Tom-tom
