High quality, well made marimba bar posts. I unfortunately under-ordered these over a year ago and just got around to finishing a project, so had to order a few more. Same quality, but more than doubled in price since last time.
I finally found the solution that I've been looking for! Years ago someone must have replaced the entire board of posts with some kind of rubber/tire material to hold the bars up. The rubber is peeling and no longer supports the bar. After removing the rubber and nails, I found out I can drill some holes and install these. They work well!
I had to replace 2 on an old xylo that had broken off. The lower stem was very hard to remove since it broke off level with the surface of the support. But once I got them out, the new pieces fit well and should last forever. I'd give it a 5 if it was designed originally so that the pieces could be replaced more easily. Perhaps a screw in design.
Shipped so very quickly, and cost only 1/3 of the nearest competitors price!
