New Friends March by Jeffrey T. Parthun Sr. is a beginner percussion ensemble piece for 4-6+ players. Joining the school band means more than just learning to play an instrument. It means meeting new friends and fellow percussionists and learning how to work together doing something that you all enjoy. The New Friends March gives all of your new percussion friends and you a chance to play a song of your own at a concert or contest. Instrumentation: Mallet 1, Mallet 2, Snare Drum/Bass Drum, Suspended Cymbal/Tambourine (optional).
