Fambrough-Night Songs-M

Night Songs by Gene Fambrough is a two movement 4.5 octave (low F) marimba solo. This four mallet solo runs approximately 7 minutes. The first movement, Until We Meet Again is a chorale that uses unique progressions to move between major and minor modes. The second movement, The Inward Eye is based off a sixteenth note motive that is used throughout the piece and helps to spell out the chord progressions and melody line.
