Be advised that this is a handwritten, not computerized score. It's legible, but a bit antique.

This piece got me into all of my colleges. It's a great piece that shows off one handed rolls, speed, ripple rolls, independent strokes, and much more. It's definitely harder than a grade 5. This piece also is a big crowd pleaser, it is very "showy" while still being partially A-tonal.

This piece of music features many great draws to it. If you want to start learning a solo that is not completly tonal but not A- Tonal this would be a piece that falls into that in between. It really pushes you to learn one handed independent rolls equally in both hands. The choral section of the piece does a great job by challenging the performer to emphasis the melodic line based on the way the chords are written. The second movement offers your hands the chance to work up new permutations and build note accuracy. This is a piece that is enjoyable to listen to, learn, perform, or even audition with. Great piece all the way around.
