Description
I have devoted my third volume of Three Chorales to contain arrangements of famous orchestral works and tunes. This volume is a continuation from the previous in that the last chorale in volume 2 is also an arrangement (Elgar’s Nimrod from Variations on an Original Theme (Enigma) for Orchestra, Op. 36).
The inspiration behind volume 3 came from a quote in an interview by world-renowned marimbaist and composer, Gordon Stout (b. 1952).
