Description
Highwood Trio by Duncan Patton comprises the following two movements:
1. Prelude, Passacaglia and Fugue
2. Chorale
Using traditional forms but with new sonorities, this melodic and inventive piece is engaging for performers and audience alike. One percussion part is focused on vibraphone, the other on marimba, both with and an additional small set-up. The oboist also doubles on guiro.
