Patton-Isolamento-M

During the early days of the coronavirus pandemic, a friend of the composer, the saxophonist Cliff Lyons, suggested someone should write a piece with no interval smaller than a 6th, representing the six feet of distance we all kept apart when practicing social distancing. This solo is Duncan Patton's attempt. It also quotes (at the end), in altered form, the final measures of Bach's St. Matthew Passion.
