My bass drum foot is pretty numb as far as pedals go. If you blindfolded me and put nearly ANY chain or strap drive pedal on my kit, I'd say "fine..." and just play. It would be the same for the various direct-drive pedals, at whatever price point as well. I must say, the Demon Drive is demonstrably a better playing pedal and would be a serious upgrade for a player looking to step up. Even my ol' numb foot will agree. I would be turning in my chain drive Eliminator any time soon, but I might just find a DD under my bass sometime in the future...

The first time I played my Pearl Demon Drive I had to watch my foot. I didn't even feel it hit the drum it's so fast that bass drum rolls are made easy on a single pedal. I would and do recommend this pedal to anyone. Pearl you guys have really out done yourselves.
