The Pearl malletSTATION EM1 Mallet Controller delivers a realistic playing experience with exceptional responsiveness and versatility. Designed for seamless integration, the EM1 connects easily to any PC, Mac, iOS, or Android device via USB, allowing performers to access virtual instrument software and accurately replicate marimba, vibraphone, and other keyboard percussion sounds.

Developed in collaboration with Muse Kinetics, the EM1 features Smart Fabric technology paired with silicone bar construction to create a natural feel and highly sensitive response. The pads support dampening and aftertouch, both of which can be customized within your preferred software environment for a tailored playing experience.

The intuitive layout of the malletSTATION allows for quick range adjustments using the included accidental covers, also known as gap caps. By selecting the low note and repositioning the covers, players can shift the instrument range (such as C to C or F to F) with visual clarity. The low note selector supports every natural note and uses LED indicators for easy reference, while the octave controls allow fast range changes. The EM1 also includes four assignable buttons and three faders, offering expanded control within your software setup.

The unit is powered directly via USB, eliminating the need for an external power supply. For expanded connectivity, the optional MIDI Expander (sold separately) allows integration with traditional MIDI gear. Additionally, the EM1 includes three MIDI-assignable 1/4" pedal inputs for further performance customization.

The included PSCEM1B malletSTATION Case features a padded sleeve design with a convenient accessory pouch, reinforced handles, a shoulder strap, and durable zippers for secure transport. The PCKS Stand offers a sturdy Z-style frame with locking casters, adjustable height settings, and an integrated headphone hook, making it ideal for both studio and stage use.
