This Pearl Music City Custom Solid Shell Snare Drum features an Ash shell delivering a bright, full volume sound with extended sustain. The solid shell is meticulously hand-formed from a steam treated plank of premium North American lumber and ornamented with a boxwood rode tri-band inlay. This technique is similar to methods used by old world ship builders. Each shell gets a hand rubbed finish, precise drilling and assembled with Pearl's quality hardware.
