This Pearl Music City Custom Solid Shell Snare Drum features a Maple shell delivering a tonally centered in the midrange sound. The solid shell is meticulously hand-formed from a steam treated plank of premium North American lumber. This technique is similar to methods used by old world ship builders. The Shell is ornamented with an ebony inlay. Each shell gets a hand rubbed finish, precise drilling and assembled with Pearl's quality hardware.
