Pearl finally figured it out (as per usual). Less is more. Everyone remembers the ol' Speed King right? Great pedal. Fast, responsive, lightweight. No triple-action turbo drives, or ninja-star ball bearings. Just a quality pedal that feels good. Well, after decades of offerings, we've finally gotten back to that with the Demonator. Not a bunch of bells and whistles here. Instead we've got a quality lightweight pedal that's very responsive, built like a tank, and well thought out. The response is the best I've played save the Demon Drive (granted it's is MUCH more expensive). Single post design and single piece footboard help cut down on the weight which makes me confident to get my Jojo Mayer on (without the performance-enhancing substances.) I love this pedal and I love the fact that it can be had for under $100. Sure a carry case would be nice, but I'll use the money I saved from my previous pedal to get one. Thanks Pearl!
