The Pearl Philharmonic USA Solid Shell 14" x 4" Rosewood Snare Drum combines artisan American craftsmanship with the rich, complex voice of solid East Indian Rosewood. Its 8mm steam-bent solid shell is reinforced with 6mm solid maple reinforcement rings, creating a highly responsive concert snare with deep lows, a pronounced midrange, crisp articulation, and exceptional projection. Rosewood's dense character gives the drum a warm, refined resonance while maintaining the sensitivity and definition required for demanding orchestral and concert percussion applications.

Each Philharmonic USA Solid Shell snare is CNC drilled, hand-finished, and assembled at Pearl's Music City Custom Shop in Nashville, Tennessee. This 14" x 4" configuration features a 45-degree bearing edge, promoting a more immediate attack, increased articulation, and clear projection while preserving the depth and tonal complexity of the solid rosewood shell.
