I used these at a gig last nite. If you want to free up your hands, these are your buy. I have those egg shakers with sticks but when you want to play congas, these are great for added texture and after a while, they're so comfy, you forget you're wearing them. If you wear two, it's too loud, so one is best. But they also fit around your ankles. Even if you just want to add shakes, shake your wrist on the mic.
