We bought this for an ad hoc marching band we were putting together for a neighborhood parade. With 3 separate bands and a variety of configurations, it's great at securing a marching snare or a field drum. Highly recommend!

Am I the only drummer that has noticed that the clips do not fit properly? I have a Pearl Tenor Drum with the standard "Pearl" hook on the drum and I use the "Pearl" sling. Wouldn't one expect the components to be perfectly compatible ...... being they are all from the same company? Well, if you place the sling clip in the standard hook, it spreads the clip open as it slides up to the wider top of the hook. Granted, the clip does not open far enough for the hook to slip out ..... but it shouldn't open at all. That is the purpose of that style clip. I would expect that a company like Pearl would have the common sense to have the clip and the hook be perfectly compatible. I don't trust it so I slip the hook onto the large O-ring and bypass the clip altogether.
