Penderecki-Vivace (S-n2)-Rototoms/BN or BCL

Krzysztof Penderecki composed the Vivace for bassoon (or bass clarinet) and Rototoms in 1994 on the occasion of the 50th birthday of Justus Frantz. In virtuoso tempo, a thrilling dialogue develops between the restlessly rotating bass line of the wind instrument and the incisive interjections of the rototoms.
