A gem of a piece, can be played solo

Irregular rhythms and contrasting attacking and tranquil sections provide plenty of challenge in this piece. Also one of the few Mitchell Peters pieces for two mallets. I really enjoyed the interplay of piano and marimba, but I have also played this as a solo piece by collapsing the rest time for the piano part, and it worked really well. Don't let the absence of an accompanist put you off trying this exciting addition to your repertoire.
