Pickering-Unlove-V

Unlove by Caleb Pickering is based on the text of Pablo Neruda's poem If You Forget Me. While the music follows the emotions depicted through the text, the lines "everything carries me to you" and "If suddenly you forget me do not look for me, for I shall already have forgotten you" are represented through the contrasting use of A minor and D dorian modes. Unlove provides a touching and gentle experience for both player and audience alike.
