Description
Originally printed in 1878, this compilation of xylophone solos entitled Popular Melodies and Instructions for Playing Escher's Improved Xylophone was conceived due to the demand for this new (at the time) instrument. This is truly some of the first music ever printed that was arranged for any solo mallet percussion instrument!
