Gardel/Pera-Por Una Cabeza arr. Primatic (SP)-B/X/3M/CB

Por Una Cabeza by Carlos Gardel and Alfredo Le Pera arranged for percussion ensemble by Stephen Primatic. This arrangement is based on the version from The Tango Project. It was originally written for three performers on a single 5-octave marimba. It was then expanded for a full ensemble to augment the arrangement, but can still be performed as a trio if desired. Instrumentation (3 or 9 players): three soloists (one 5-octave marimba), two additional marimbas (low A), bells, xylophone, and bass (string bass or bass marimba).
