Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun by Claude Debussy arranged for percussion ensemble by Janos Kovacs. Scored for two vibraphones and three marimbas. This symphonic poem for orchestra is one of the most iconic works in the history of music, situated right on the cusp of Modernism. Each part can be performed using two mallets. All marimba parts can be performed on a 4.3-octave instrument.
