love these sticks. they are really well made and with no fisnish on them they are easier to play with.

These sticks don't have a finish, so the wood is rough. This seems kind of uncomfortable at first, but it really helps you grip the sticks better. If you have sweaty hands, and have trouble with smooth sticks flying out of your hand, then this is a way to avoid that without using grip tape.
