Leonard-Promenade(SP)

Promenade by Stanley Leonard for percussion sextet. This slightly off-beat processional was composed specifically for the Trinity High School Percussion Ensemble. This piece creates an atypical soundscape for a more standard musical form.

Instrumentation:
Player 1 - four temple blocks, bells, crotales (or vibraphone)
Player 2 - vibraslap, chimes, tambourine
Player 3 - four high tom toms, snare drum, maracas
Player 4 - slapstick, suspended cymbal, crash cymbals, triangle
Player 5 - two brake drums, bass drum
Player 6 - tam tam, four timpani
