Not the best for Church

I purchased this without knowing what the pieces sounded like, thinking that being called "psalms" they would be fitting for a church service. Unfortunately, there are no clear melody lines in the pieces. They are mostly random chords which, in my opinion, don't flow logically from one to another, and standard chord progressions and cadences are nowhere to be found. The pieces might be attractive to someone looking for some contemporary and unusual music, but a general audience, such as in a church, will most likely not understand these works musically and probably not be able to appreciate them as result.
