Golinski-Purity 2 (SP)-2M

Purity 2 by Tomasz Golinski for marimba duo. This piece is based on Purity 1, Golinski's work for solo marimba which won the first place prize in the Universal Marimba Composition Competition in 2011. That version is carefully rearranged here to show the enormous possibilities of two 5-octave marimbas sounding together. This piece consists mainly of melodic, lyrical, dark and bright musical material which can inspire the most demanding performers.
