Description
This is a challenging four-mallet vibraphone solo with piano accompaniment. The work explores the rhythmic and harmonic interplay between the two instruments as each shares its responsibilities to accompany and to lead. "...and now these three remain..." could be equally at home in the recital hall or the church sanctuary.

Eric Thomas Rath is active as a percussion educator, clinician, arranger and composer, He currently teaches at Randall High School (Amarillo, Texas) where he conducts the Symphonic Band, directs the percussion ensemble, and coordinates all percussion for Randall's feeder schools. In addition, he is a member of the percussion section of the Amarillo Symphony Orchestra and also performs regularly with the Amarillo Opera. He received both his B.M. And M.A. From West Texas A&M university in Canyon, Texas.
