Perfect for my Remo doumbek!
Description
The Remo Drum Riser raises hand drums up off the floor allowing for more bass tone projection and an overall focus of the sound. The design of the Riser allows for use with multiple size drums. The Drum still needs to be supported by the players knees but the playing experience is enhanced by the comfort and sound.
The Drum riser folds up easy and small for transport and storage.

Seemed to work OK at first. Nice that it folds up. However, it got dropped onto a concrete floor from about three feet and the bottom piece snapped off making it unable to be locked into place. Also, the O rings surrounding each of the feet are cracking and need to be replaced.

I like the riser and being able to fold and carry three or four in my gig bag instead of having to stash the older pyramid style stands in multiple places. I use these in music therapy, community/recreational drumming events and working with children on percussion skills. I do wish they were taller and had an additional large step at the bottom. These are low for adults with back issues and some wide-bottom djembe are too big for these stands. All in all, I'm happy with the product.
