Roy-Rhythmic Configurations (SP)-X/V/M/4T/P

Rhythmic Configurations by J. Michael Roy was commisionsed by the Ellsworth High School Percussion Ensemble, Ellsworth, Wisconsin; Lisa Benz Director. The driving syncopations that open this work make for a very exciting piece as it slowly builds and adds instruments. The layers created by the "Rhythmic Configurations" really set up the mixed meter middle section, which then powerfully drives towards the end of the piece. This is a GREAT piece for the advancing high school percussion ensemble.
