McCarthy-Rimbasly (Percussion ensemble version) (SP)-3M/X/V/4T/P

Rimbasly by Daniel McCarthy for marimba and percussion ensemble. This piece is a revised re-issue of the popular marimba solo with CD accompaniment version of this piece. Written for Michael Burritt, Rimbasly presents many technical challenges for the performer with complicated stickings, complete independence between the hands, and independent rolls.

Player 1 - Solo 4.6-Octave Marimba

Player 4 - Xylophone, Vibraphone
Player 5 - Piano
Player 6 - Timpani
Player 7 - Percussion 1 (4 tom toms, temple blocks, snare drum, whip, maracas, rain stick, tambourine, bongos)
Player 8 - Percussion 2 (2 woodblocks, temple blocks, crash cymbals, suspended cymbal, whip, snare drum, claves, tam tam, tambourine, maracas)
Player 9 - Percussion 3 (bass drum, agogo bells, tam tam, claves, maracas, finger cymbals)
