Saliba-Critters and Other Creatures

"Critters and Other Creatures" is a collection of songs and poems for children with suggestions for the teacher on how these selections might be presented. The focus for the teacher includes rhythmic elements, rhythmic motives and rhythmics patterns. It includes melodic motives and melodic patterns, and verbal and instrumental ostinatos. Each selection is followed by suggested ways to teach. Most poems or songs have suggestions for extending the activity.
