These are great. Very hard vibe mallets and nice for 2-mallet jazz improv. Similar to something like the Mike Balter Silver Jazz Pro Vibe Series. If you want a graduated set on vibes, I would recommend the E20s, E30s, and E40s. (M M/H M/H H). These also work well as a wrapped xylophone mallet if needed. Salyers Percussion are all geniuses for manufacturing these models because all of them serve a purpose that is useful in ubiquity. E10 - Bass on Marimba and Cymbal Work E20 - General (or Alto) Marimba, soft vibe, and light drum work. E30 - General Vibe, soft wrapped Xylo, and soprano on marimba. E40 - Hard Vibe, General Wrapped Xylo, and agitated Very Hard Marimba E50- Hard Wrapped Xylo, and maybe even bell mallets.
