Salyers has world class products. Unfortunately it's the luck of the draw when you order sticks. When they get pulled for the order, I'm sure the warehouse doesn't have time to play with the sticks. The pair I received felt like dead logs and were nowhere near balanced between the two. Again, I'm not complaining about Salyer's. You take a chance when ordering online and hoping they pull a great pair. But that was not the case, this time around.

Great feel and response on all different types of surfaces, and not just snares. I've used them for set playing, multiple percussion solos, and even some non-traditional excerpts on different objects. Great stick for a great price!
