The extra hard felt heads are shaped to provide even tone throughout the range of bass drum sizes. The tapered hickory shafts provide slightly more counter weight than other models. This improved balance makes the Salyers Percussion mallets feel better to play.

The balance of these mallets is perfect. Weight wise, theyre a bit on the lighter side. The taper is perfect and feels great. These have also held up very well to hefty amounts of rim clicks.
