Saperstein-Vibraphone Solo-V

Vibraphone Solo , composed in August 2000 by David Saperstein, is dedicated and was premiered by Peter Jarvis at William Paterson University. The opening section features 3 specific pitches - C, B, and G sounded repeatedly. The second section is more fluid, using the same notes. The 3rd section is very free flowing using much rubato. The final section is more similar to the opening of the piece.
