Savage Ritual by J. Michael Roy for percussion nonet. This piece is a musical depiction of the anxiety and drama that accompanied the sacrificial rites as practiced by the Aztecs in 15th century Mexico.

Player 2 - marimba, rattle
Player 3 - vibraphone, suspended cymbal
Player 4 - piano
Player 5 - timpani
Player 6 - bongos, 5 toms
Player 7 - 2 log drums, snare drum, low claves
Player 8 - maracas, congas, tam tam
Player 9 - bass drum, guiro
