Scenes for Summertime by Dana Difilippantonio is the 2nd place winner of the PAS composition contest for 2011. This five movement solo provides a clear narrative, however it is the composer's hope that everyone will derive their own specific meanings. Summer is a time that evokes a deep nostalgia for many people. Whether it be adventures had or friends made, summer holds special and secret memories for all of us.
